LOYOLA UNIVERSITY MARYLAND
PRE-HEALTH PROGRAM
UX Research and Design
01
Challenge

The Pre-Health Program at Loyola University Maryland needed to refresh their website to provide timely and relevant information to pre-health students and also highlight special community-based opportunities offered by the program.

02
Goals

The goal was to research and design the information architecture for the new website via insights gained from heuristic evaluation of the current site and interviews with stakeholders.

03
Solution

We proposed a new site map that re-categorized the site content content intuitively and proposed that site content be re-written to be concise and so students can quickly get to the information they need. We created mock ups of a few landing pages to help the client visualize the new layout. We also suggested changes to the site URL so the page indexes in the right section of the school website.

04
Results

Our deliverables included a site map and mock ups of a few landing pages to help the client visualize the new layout. The client incorporated our research findings in the final site design.
